“Declaration Anthem” submitted for 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards Nominations
Placement Music was commissioned by FOX Sports to create an original instrumental score that was featured during FOX’s salute to U.S. Soldiers right before kick-off of Super Bowl XLV this year titled “Declaration Anthem”. We have submitted the track for the 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards Nominations.
The full “Declaration Anthem” score, a radio edit and ringtone were then sold through iTunes and Amazon.com from which a portion of the proceeds went directly to the Wounded Warrior Project. Seen by a worldwide audience of approx. 111 million viewers, Super Bowl XLV was the most watched television event in history.
“Declaration Anthem” was was co-produced by, Tammy Hurt, Founding Partner at Placement Music, composed by Placement Music creative team member Steve Dancz and engineered by multiple GRAMMY-winner Leslie Ann Jones. We were honored recently at the 32nd Annual Telly Awards with two Silver Tellys, the organizations highest honor, in the following categories: TV Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces — Sports, and TV Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces — Use of Music.
